Friends Select School

B&F worked with Friends Select, an independent co-ed day school, to develop a Master Plan. The first phase included an extension of the building’s central stairwell from the main floor to the lowest level to improve circulation and provide better access to the School’s athletic facilities. A second phase renovated existing locker rooms and repurposed underused space to create a new Fitness Center that overlooks the lower level pool.

Our team successfully managed the logistics and safety concerns of the School’s tight urban site while construction occurred over summer breaks and during the school year. Both phases of work were completed on schedule and within the School’s budget.
